# GL-MT6000 CSI pre-flight record

`gl-mt6000-csi-preflight-20261010.json` records what was checked before the
first flash:

- target board and sysupgrade container members;
- sysupgrade image size and SHA-256;
- exact stock rollback image size and SHA-256;
- MT7986 Wi-Fi firmware MD5, SHA-256 and build string;
- OpenWrt/mt76 pins and installed CSI components;
- CSI-related `mt7915e.ko` symbols.

This is **artifact evidence**, not proof that the flashed router produced CSI.
Runtime evidence is the separate 10-minute capture and public dataset:
<https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23434789>.

Useful checks on a locally built image:

```bash
shasum -a 256 openwrt-*-sysupgrade.bin
tar -tf openwrt-*-sysupgrade.bin
tar -xOf openwrt-*-sysupgrade.bin sysupgrade-glinet_gl-mt6000/CONTROL
md5sum /lib/firmware/mediatek/mt7986_wm.bin
strings /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/mt7915e.ko | grep mt7915_vendor_csi
```

Never flash a file only because its name looks correct. Recompute the hash,
verify the board identifier inside `CONTROL`, and keep a tested rollback
image.
